Many of us are facing more anxiety, stress and overwhelm than ever before.
We are more connected at an international level, hearing about tragedies, dramas and disasters as they unfold. The graphic images we see can make us feel surrounded by doom, gloom and uncertainty.
Social media can influence us to believe others are living a better, happier and more exciting life. Our lives can feel ‘on show’ and it can feel like judgements are appearing from every direction. This can exacerbate feelings of not being good enough, failure, shame, or imposter syndrome.
So, while we’re more connected, we can be left feeling alone, stressed or sad. We are using external, often addictive coping mechanisms such as endless scrolling online, mindless eating, drinking, shopping, gaming, smoking, vaping, taking exercise to extremes or simply staying stuck, procrastinating and doing nothing at all.
What I’ve found over many years of recovering from my own challenges is that the issues that cause us to turn to addictive behaviours are deep seated and require specialist practices to unravel.
This is where I come in. My name is Anna Bidgood, I am a practitioner of Holistic Health for almost a decade based in East Malvern, Melbourne (or zoom) and use a number of proven methods including Craniosacral Therapy, Hypnosis, NLP, EFT, Meditation, Reiki, Yin and Restorative Yoga to take my clients on a journey from pain, disease, distraction and disconnection to focus, fulfilment and health.
