Yin yoga works into the deepest tissues of the body through longer held, passive stretching and compression. Based on the principles of TCM, Yin improves the flow and circulation of breath, blood and chi, through meridian stimulation - like Accupunture. This allows for release of physical and emotional issues, as well as nourishment to each of the organs. This practice brings a deep sense of calm, excellent mental health benefits, increased mobility, and better sleep.
A six week course (you can attend all or just one) to release fascia and tension in the body and restore natural mobility and alignment. This will benefit those with joint issues, (think “I need a new hip, shoulder, ankle, spine”) recovering from injury or simply wanting a free and mobile body to age with ease! You will leave each class with optional exercises for the week ahead and feel more relaxed, supple and younger! After all, you are only as young as your healthiest joints and fascia!
Are you feeling the tension from too much screen and sitting time? Perhaps this is manifesting in a sore back, tight shoulders, wrist or neck pain. You may also feel it as stress and mental fatigue. Whether you're a student, working from home, or a parent overseeing online learning and have any aches, pains or stresses, this could be just the ticket. Learn how to be more aware of deep held tension in the body and simple hacks to release it. Each class will end with a calming guided meditation.
A new zoom class for those a bit older or less mobile looking for some gentle relief from aches, pains and stresses, as well as the chance to connect and practise with others online. In this class you will learn some calming breath techniques, release aches and pains and be guided into a place of peace. Arrive early for a cuppa and chat and stay after for questions and comments. Receive an email though the week to stay in touch and be reminded to take a little bit of time for self care.

Many of us have been severely financially impacted by the current Covid-19 pandemic and I firmly believe everyone should get supported where needed. I therefore have two options for those with genuine financial hardship to ensure everyone can benefit from my classes.
